I honestly thought I had the talent to be a fashion designer. Well, I have the ideas, it's just that either they are already made — after all, everything around us is inspiration, or I just could not gather all of them in one cohesive thought. The clothes I seem to envision in my mind are so outrageous, I could not even put them onto paper.
Then I`ve come to realize that I still have the chance to dress up people according to what I think fits best for them: being a stylist. Family and peers always come to me whenever they need fashion advice. After all, I'm just an sms, Facebook chat, or tweet away. I enjoy sharing them the knowledge I have when it comes to fashion and I know it's something I want to do on a career level. Boredom came today and I remember I used to frequent this site called Polyvore back when it surfaced several years ago. Unfortunately, I have not used my account in years that I forgot my password and just needed a new one.
Under the cut, you`ll be seeing who are the celebrities I desire to style if given a chance! ;)
I seriously have a huge thing for black and white monochrome and grunge, so for this set, young star Lorde is my inspiration. She always has been an inspiration (that`s why I`m part of the Philippine street team) and I really think the monochrome fits her well.
For Mama Monster`s look, I want to give her that subtle, refined look. Ever since she came back with Art Pop, her style became tame and classic with still a little bit of quirkiness in them by the means of her accessories (I actually have the same sunglasses only mine`s in tortoise). I think white and silver fits Lady Gaga really well that`s why I used that color palette to complete her look.
Oh Riri, why do you have to be so phenomenal? I think all of us in the modern world know who Rihanna is. She can wear the most revealing dress and media be like "fasyon!". She can do whatever she wants with her hair and it. just. works. If I'm going to style her, I`d still go for my favorite black and white looks as seen up top. I think my set screams out "New York" a lot, louder than Alicia Keys.
What do you think of my sets? Who do you want to dress up? Let me know in the comments section!
