You wouldn`t expect an adventure, would you? Design Her Story bazaar plus long walks equals a surprisingly great time despite the bad weather.

We knew there would be a typhoon; we knew it would be a risk to push through, yet we still did. It was fun sharing an umbrella, it was fun fooling around while waiting for a bus under a cloudy and breezy day. My day was surprisingly amazing. We went to the Design Her Story bazaar at Local Edition Cafe in Perea St., Makati for a while and I had a really great time chatting with Camie of wild-spirit.net and Reese of reeseypeasy.com. I`ve met Ate Reese several times already before and she`s still the same bubbly and accommodating girl I met years ago. However, it was my first time meeting Ate Camie even if I`ve been following her blog for quite a while now. She was really sweet and was even the first one to ask me how I was! Honestly, I`m still fangirling. I love meeting fellow bloggers especially the ones I look up to. Doesn`t it feel good to interact with people who love doing what you do?
After killing time in Greenbelt, Joko and I decided to go home. Since typhoon Luis was still enjoying his reign (rain.. get it? REIGN.... hehe), we had no choice but to take a long walk through an overpass. Lucky us, the always crowded overpass was deserted that night. We took the opportunity to take photos with the murals painted through the whole walk. I really needed those encouraging words since I get easily depressed and these photos will be a constant reminder that I should look at things in a positive light all the time.
Well, how was your weekend? I`d love to know!

P.S. if you`re wondering, I`m wearing a cape blouse from Korea (ate Reese liked it!), khaki shorts from Gap (similar), slip ons from Vans, Michael Kors Selma bag via Net-A-Porter, and an Anne Klein silver bangle which is my mum`s.
Love your blouse! It's so perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat cape blouse is so unique, love it!
