I`m typing this as I am currently stuck in the office because of the madness of a typhoon outside, deprived of sleep and probably cranky.

I just remembered there was also a typhoon the day I sported this ensemble.

I knew I had to snag this blue sporty vest the minute I laid my eyes on it while thrift shopping. I had no idea how to style it then but I`m the type of person who randomly gets light bulbs turning on in my head at really strange times — getting on the bus, untangling my earphones, pooping.. (#tmi) see what I mean? HA HA. Sports wear have been all the rage for spring/summer 2014 and many of us are still not over it. How could we? You`re making a statement that sports wear need not be boring and you`re not sacrificing comfort either. 

Blue and gray is such a lovely combination don`t you think? I have 3 gray long sleeves in my closet: a fancy one with studs all over it, an urban one with graphics printed on it, and this Calvin Klein one given as a gift which is very lightweight yet it gives you the warmth you need. On the other hand, I`m not blessed with long legs so I thought it would look better if my cigarette pants from Topshop (similar) were cuffed. I realized trousers + slip-ons can make you look shorter if the pants don`t have the right length.

But you know what`s really up? I am awfully tired and I need to gather my brain cells already! Hope all of you are safe and warm wherever you are. Let me just get some Zzzz`s.
